Automatic Street Light Control System is a simple yet powerful concept, which uses transistor as a switch. By using this system manual works are 100% removed. It automatically switches ON lights when the sunlight goes below the visible region of our eyes. This is done by a sensor called Light Dependant Resistor (LDR).
Most solar lights turn on and turn off automatically by sensing outdoor light using solar panel voltage. Solar streetlights are designed to work throughout the night. Many can stay lit for more than one night if the sun is not in the sky for an extended period of time.
Smart controllers have built in functionalities to control lighting, dimming and battery charging. The smart controller prevents the solar battery from overcharging and undercharging. By receiving the energy from solar panels it continuously charges the battery during the day.
